DEBBY on 4/12/2012, said: I would've rated it a five if not for the horrible editing. There were so many missed words and garbled sentances that it interferred with the flow as I read. The story itself made it worthwhile to wade through the mess. There was an attempted rape scene, but Laurann Dohner pulled it off nicely. I mentioned this because in her series "New Species" the attempted rape scenes got pretty intense. It was short a under a 100 pages. I was mad when I first saw it because I paid so much for it but, when I got to the end of the book I was like YEAH!!!! I want some more!!! But unfortunately I can't afford it right now, though "Kidnapping Casey" is the next book I am going to buy!!!! It really could have been an excellent book but it was hard to understand at time. The main female character seemed to get won over by the hero of the book too quickly and she seem to get over the fact that there were aliens and she was going to be with one for the rest of her life real fast. But love is blind, so they say. But as I have found with this authors books she gets better with each following story so I'm not giving up on this series just yet.
