Review: Coffee Times Romance--5 cups A titillating tale of what happens when fantasy and reality collide. The love scenes in this book are hot, hot, and hot. This book should have a warning label: liable to cause a heat stroke so proceed carefully. Evangeline Anderson knows how to ensnare the reader into the web of BDSM even if the reader never thought to try it before. Well worth the read and highly recommended as a first time read, second time read, and will be placed on the TBR list of anyone who reads the very first page. Delane Reviewer Coffee Time Romance & More This was a sizzling hot story by Evangeline Anderson that showcases her at her best. Jax's relationship with Ryan was a joy to read -- I really liked their banter, the flirting, and their gradual exploration of their love and sexuality. The sex was hot and definitely there without taking over the plot -- it actually worked really well to both advance and enhance the plot. I thought that Anderson's rendering of Jax's issues were really nuanced and her descriptions of Ryan and Jax's emotions were both believable and moving. What really worked for me was that Ryan and Jax were both novices to BDSM and the story moves from where they are exploring what they wanted and what they could do within the boundaries of what they thought the other wanted. Jax's worries over her job and where their relationship was going was gripping and Ryan's desperation at Jax's reactions to her worries was absolutely engrossing. Night Owl Romance Reviews

Once again Evangeline Anderson pens an erotic tale that starts off hot and only gets more enticing with every page. She never fails to make this reader pant!!! The Man in the Black Leather Mask is an erotic ride from start to finish. Jacqueline is a headstrong beauty who craves the arms of a strong dominate man, and in Ryan she finds not only the man she's been dreaming of, but the love of her life. If you're looking for an irresistible interracial read, then look no further. The Man in the Leather Mask is the story for you.

An exciting ride filled with angst, passion, and some extremely intense sex that left me looking for a block of ice. I'm not sure what other reviewers were thinking but I found this well worth the $. (BTW, I don't think the author has anything to do with what EC charges for the book. And anyway, since this book had me reaching for my toys several times, I would call it worth the price.) I should note that this is a cougar book--that is, the heroine, Jacqueline, is 36 and the hero, Ryan, is 26 so she is older than him. Maybe younger readers wouldn't find this appealing but as a woman in my thirties, I can totally get hot over the idea of taking a skillful and very eager to please younger man to bed. Another note--Jacqueline is a woman of color and Ryan is white. If this turns you off or you have racial biases, then I can't help you and this book is not for you. But Jacqueline is an educated, intelligent woman who knows what she wants--to be dominated in the bedroom. And Ryan is just the man to make her dreams come true. All in all, a very hot read. Check it out if you're mature enough to handle the content.

Okay read, decent characters and story BUT future buyers beware: you are getting less than 100 pages for the $5.95 asking price.
